About Our Therapists
Mandy Mallory, MSW, LCSW
If You’ve Been Feeling Stuck, I’m Here To Help
As a licensed therapist and social worker it is my calling to help those on their mental health journey of healing & improvement.
My Approach & Philosophy
My goal is to create a peaceful space full of support and zero judgment, where clients can open up about life. I meet the client where they are, and evaluating what their focus is for their work, while searching for things that they are unaware of within themselves. Therapy becomes a place of accountability and requires the willingness to be honest in areas of skewed logic, where we need to grow. This requires meeting people with kindness but in contrast, not avoiding. The therapeutic space becomes a place of truthfulness.
The human body consists of intricately woven systems that contribute to or detract from our health, physical, emotional, and mental. In order to feel well, we must find the right balance for ourselves which is an individual recipe.
My Background
My journey on this career path began in my first semester of college with a psychology course. An Intro to Social Work course provided the opportunity to volunteer with a hotline serving adolescents in need of resources or who were experiencing suicidal ideation. This experience ignited a passion for helping others and continued beyond completion of the class. When the opportunity to mentor adolescents became available to me, I began to see the possibilities to develop myself in a helper role. Over the years I have worked with at-risk-youth as direct care staff, as an in-home behavioral health rehabilitation services provider, case manager with Mental Health Court, therapist in community mental health, running a mental health unit for the Department of Corrections, providing assessments and short term services in an OB/GYN clinic (primarily postpartum depression), and as a therapist in private practice. My goal in these roles was to give back, and help others. Through these experiences I gained an understanding of human behaviors and struggles, as well as a heart that was full, as I witnessed the willingness to give and care for others even in the midst of hardships. I absolutely love my work and nothing makes me feel more fulfilled than helping others.
At home, I am the mother of three amazing teenagers! They are my joy and keep me busy! My children are artistic, musical, and can out-math mom any day of the week! They are my comic relief and my sidekicks! Our family has been part of the Norman community since 2007. We have enjoyed being a part of a thriving church community. As a family we strive to stay active, read as many books as we can get our hands on, enjoy family game nights, and love planning our next vacation. We have four silly doggos, three of which are rescues. On weekends we can be found antiquing, thrifting, and repurposing the treasures we find. Coffee shops, bookstores, and libraries are a few of our favorite things. My soul finds peace in nature as well as in a good book!

My Approach & Philosophy
Life is full of transitions—some expected, some sudden—and each change has the potential to bring both growth and stress. As a therapist, I specialize in walking alongside adolescents and adults as they navigate these shifts, while also helping them understand how their past experiences continue to shape the present. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can explore the impact of change, manage the anxiety it often brings, and uncover the beauty and opportunity that lie on the other side of it.
I am passionate about helping clients recognize and shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior so they can approach life with greater clarity, resilience, and hope. Whether you are processing trauma, managing anxiety, living with ADHD or depression, or learning to adapt to new chapters of life, I am here to support you. Much of my work centers on understanding the neuroscience of anxiety and how it influences the mind and body, and I continue to dedicate myself to ongoing training and research in this field so I can bring the most effective strategies into my sessions.
I love working with individuals who are curious about themselves and motivated to grow—those who want to face roadblocks with courage and build a life that aligns with their goals and values. In our work together, we will explore the ways past experiences and relationships have shaped you, while also focusing on strengthening your ability to cope, communicate, and thrive in the present.
My Background
My background includes extensive experience supporting children and adolescents from diverse walks of life, helping them navigate challenges unique to their stage of development. I have also worked closely with adults as they move through significant life events, from personal losses to major transitions in relationships, family dynamics, and career paths. Whether the focus is on improving relationships, healing from the past, or cultivating a healthier mindset for the future, my approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and am licensed to practice in both Oklahoma and Montana, welcoming clients from either state.
No matter where you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you gain deeper self-understanding, develop new tools for resilience, and work toward the life you envision.
